Maggannie Company History

MPM was founded after realizing the impact that poorly maintained rental properties had on property values of homes in the neighborhood. We started helping family and friends manage their rental properties and learned quickly the ins and outs of dealing with contractors, housing codes and landlord/tenant laws. In an effort to help more people maintain the benefits of their rental properties without facing the hassles of tenants, maintenance and up keep Maggannie Property Management LLC was created. MPM has grown from helping family and friends to helping people like you!

Our philosophy is that, "We manage your property like it’s one of our own."


Our Team

Valerie Jefferson - President

Valerie Jefferson holds a BS in Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University and a MS in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College. She has held various customer service, logistics and management positions during her professional career with several large consumer products companies. The corporate experience that Valerie has dealing with customers, products and services that provides her with the knowledge and experience she brings to MPM. Outside of the office Valerie has always helped her family and friends manage their rental properties. Over the years Valerie has built relationships with various contractors that she leverages to manage properties in the MPM portfolio.

Richard Lee - Vice President

Richard brings a different valuable skill set to MPM coming from a manufacturing and planning background. At a young age, Richard worked for a large postage meter company in Stamford, CT where he held many positions during his 9 years with the company. Most recently Richard worked as a Production Planner with an aero space engineering company. Richards' strength is laying out the steps of a project and following it through to completion. He can take an idea and make it reality with little effort and minimal costs. It's Richards' direct experience with; forecasting, planning, setting and meeting deadlines, quality inspections and delegation that he brings to MPM. Richard also brings many years of personal home repair and improvement experience to the team and will oversee most projects. Richard is currently pursuing his Associates in Business Management and is scheduled to obtain his Bachelors in Business Science in 2010.
